Bob Turner Turner

I graduated from UCSB and took a one year option to play basketball in Australia. That was in 1976. I stayed and followed in my Mentors footsteps, Skip Mohatt, to become a professional basketball coach. I also became a marketer of Sport and have been involved in Baseball, Soccer, Ice Hockey, Gymnastics, Speedway & Lawn Bowls. I became an Australian citizen in 1995 and for the last 30 years have been an Australia Day Ambassador for the NSW Government. I was inducted into the National Basketball League Hall of Fame in 1999 and recently for Basketball NSW.

Loved playing for Skip Mohatt. He was a mentor and someone who changed my life.
